semiconductors integrating our IP cores. Leveraging this expertise, Silicon Image has teamed with other technology
companies to bring standards-based products to market quickly by licensing its market-tested IP cores for integration
into system-on-a-chip (SOC) designs.
Silicon Image enables mobile phones, digital cameras, media players and other mobile devices to link directly to HDTVs through small form factor connectors and simple cables, providing digital content in its natural high-definition resolution.
All Silicon Image cores are fully documented and supported by a dedicated team of support engineers to assure the smooth integration of the IP core into the customers SoC. As an author and creator of industry standards, Silicon Image has invested many person-years and dollars testing these designs at industry PlugFests and compliance testing centers to assure interoperability among standards-based systems. Silicon Image IP cores greatly simplify the integration of high-speed serial communications standards such as HDMI, DVI and SATA. Technology
The Silicon Image cores have been designed and tested for production at foundries such as TSMC and UMC, as well as several private foundries throughout the world. On request, Silicon Image will port (redesign, develop test chip & characterize) its analog cores to other foundry processes to meet your production needs.
